This two day training conference intended for law enforcement firearms instructors. The program includes an Walther PPQ-M2 Pistol armorer class, C.Q.B. Skills class, and Trouble Shooting Pistols class, at conclusion of the RTC, Walther Arms will be raffeling a PPQ-M2, all who attend are eligible to win!

Walther PPQ-M2 Pistol armorer 8-hours
Richard DeMilt, Walther Arms - MD
Dan Weaver, Walther Arms, DC

Students will gain hands on experience in disassembly and re-assembly of entire system, including internal safeties and troubleshooting.

Equipment requirements: Common armorer's tools required i.e. complete punch set (3mm, 1mm), 8oz hammer.

Each student will receive an armorer's certificate upon successful completion of the course.

Rick DeMilt - Director of Law Enforcement and Military sales for Walther Arms.
                   
Sgt. Dan Weaver - 25 year veteran of the Maryland State Police (ret.).  Three time champion of the Invitational counter sniper team competition at Ft. Meade and current match director.   Sgt. Weaver now serves in the D.C. Metro area with the Montgomery County Police Dept.'s Firearms Training Unit.

Director DeMilt will raffle a PPQ M2 Pistol.  All attendees will be eligible.


CQB High Speed Combat Tactics 8-hours
Brian Hofner, Houston PD - TX

Equipment requirements: Standard duty  or plainclothes holster (strong side). Minimum two magazines, soft body armor, ear, eye protection, baseball cap and 300 rounds of ammunition.  Training knives will be provided.

Instructor:  Brian D. Hoffner - with over 40 years of military and law enforcement experience, Brian is the senior firearms instructor and defensive tactics instructor for the Houston Texas Police Dept.  He is also the founder of the Hoffner Training Academy and is recognized for his dynamic training program for law enforcement and military on a national and international level.

Trouble Shooting Pistols - 4 hours
Steve Albanese, New York Police Department (Ret.) - NY

Trouble Shooting Common Malfunctions and the Causes in Semi Auto Pistols - This course will allow students to accurately describe common semi-automatic pistol malfunctions and determine possible root causes for them.  It will act as a road map to better understanding the semi-auto pistol.

Equipment Required: no special tools required.

Instructor:  Detective Steve Albanese, NYPD Firearms and Tactics section (ret.) - Detective Albanese served 28 years with the NYPD.  He served for many years as the Senior Gunsmith for the Department.  Det. Albanese was also captain of the NYPD Pistol Team.  After retiring from NYPD, he worked for Kimber Manufacturing in the custom shop for two years.  He currently works for Blue Line Tactical Police Supply as the gun repair specialist.
