Description – The IALEFI Pistol Mounted Optics Instructor Course is a three-day certification course designed to teach a firearms instructor the basic methods of teaching students in the use and function of a pistol mounted optic on a semi-automatic pistol.
Location – Fulton County Emergency Operations Center, 231 North Perry Street, Johnstown, NY and Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Range.
Maximum Students – 15
Prerequisites – Have successfully completed an initial firearms instructor course.
Student Equipment and Ammunition Requirements -
Note taking material for class
Gun Belt with holster and magazine pouches
Semi-Automatic Pistol with pistol mounted optic and three magazines
1000 rounds of training ammunition
Eye and ear protection
Six dummy rounds
Baseball hat with bill
Hand held flashlight
Positive attitude
USB drive for downloading class material
No short pants or open toed shoes will be allowed
